The 11th Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF) was presented to entrepreneurs in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The presentation of potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the SBF platform was organized by the Bahrain - Bosnia and Herzegovina Friendship and Business Society in cooperation with BBI VIP Business Club from the Bosna Bank International (BBI) d.d. Sarajevo.

“For the eleventh time Sarajevo Business Forum will bring together investors and entrepreneurs from around the world, giving them the prospect to learn about investment opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region of Southeast Europe. Various possibilities and investment opportunities, as well as potentials of establishing production facilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina for export to European markets were presented. We have highlighted the natural resources and development opportunities of B&H in the fields of wood and metal processing, energy, agriculture, food industry, tourism and real estate market. There is a significant interest indicated by prominent business delegation from Bahrain to attend the upcoming Sarajevo Business Forum in May 2022”, said Ms. Azra Čolić, head of BBI’s VIP Business Club.

Bahraini entrepreneurs interested in investing in Bosnian tourism and wood industry

Mr. Jawad Al Hawaj, President of the Al Hawaj Group and President of the Bahrain - Bosnia and Herzegovina Friendship and Business Society, shared his positive experiences related to the Sarajevo Business Forum and announced the arrival of a prominent delegation of entrepreneurs and investors to Sarajevo, who will explore business collaboration opportunities.

The SBF presentation in Manama was attended by more than 70 entrepreneurs from the Kingdom of Bahrain. On this occasion, representatives of BBI Ms. Azra Čolić, head of BBI’s VIP Business Club, and Mr. Elvir Smajić, head of BBI’s Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) department, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bahrain - Bosnia and Herzegovina Friendship and Business Society and SME representatives from Bahrain.

The programme of this official visit to Kingdom of Bahrain includes meetings with various institutions and business associations who will be presented with investment and tourism potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Southeast Europe, primarily Western Balkans countries. This year's SBF, which will be held on May 11 and 12, 2022 in the B&H capital Sarajevo, will offer a large number of investment projects and business opportunities in manufacturing, agriculture, energy, education, finance, infrastructure, construction, services, tourism and other sectors.
