The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by the current Chairman, Dragan Čović, will be the sponsor of this year's Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF) which will be held in the capital city of BiH on April 25th and 26th respectively.
The organizer of the conference, which is being held for the ninth consecutive year, is Bosna Bank International (BBI) in cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). As in previous years, the conference will bring together predominant regional and international business and political leaders, giving them the opportunity to familiarize themselves with business and investment opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.
The focus of this year's Forum is to find joint solutions with regards to unused potential in various sectors such as energy, education, agriculture, tourism and the IT industry. The main objective of the Sarajevo Business Forum is to connect natural and human resources as well as open opportunities for regional companies to expand their work to foreign markets.
Last year's Sarajevo Business Forum was attended by more than 1,700 participants and including 330 accredited journalists. More than 300 direct meetings between various entrepreneurs and businessmen took place resulting in new regional business potential.
Since its start in 2010, the Sarajevo Business Forum has hosted more than 8,000 participants from over 50 countries. For more information about the conference, visit our website at www.sarajevobusinessforum.com.
