Reception for participants of 10th Sarajevo Business Forum took place at the Sarajevo City Hall on the occasion of the leading business and investment conference in the region of South East Europe, "Sarajevo Business Forum", which started today at the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the ceremony, attendees and guests were addressed by the Mayor of Sarajevo, Mr. Abdulah Skaka; CEO of the BBI Bank Mr. Amer Bukvić and General Manager of Ziraat Bank, Mr. Yusuf Dilaver.

"I have two messages for everyone present here. The first message is to send positive impressions of this country to your friends and business partners while the second is to come back next year. Thank you for everything you do for this country and this city," Skaka said.

Yusuf Dilaver took the opportunity to highlight the satisfaction of Ziraat Bank for a third year in a row sponsoring such a significant event as the Sarajevo Business Forum, pointing out that Ziraat Bank is as a family. “Wherever we are we are trying to be more than a bank and we strive to contribute to this society in the field of culture, arts and sports, which also contributes to the development of this country's economy," Dilaver said.

During three days of the Sarajevo Business Forum, through the panels, the focus will be on identifying the challenges of the South East Europe region and on creating sustainable development through leadership in many business sectors.

Mr. Bukvić emphasized that this year we have a record number of some 2,000 participants, 300 projects and over 350 journalists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region and beyond.

Tonight's reception was an opportunity for Amer Bukvić to give jubilee awards to individuals and companies who have significantly contributed to the growth and development of the Sarajevo Business Forum for ten years.

Prize winners were: Sarajevo City Hall, Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Dubai Islamic Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), Abdulaziz Ahmed Rahma Mohamed Almheiri (Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BBI Bank and Member of the Board of Dubai Islamic Bank), Abdulla Zaid Al Shehhi (vice president of BBI Bank's Supervisory Board and Head of New Country Expansion at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Gökhan Bozkurt (Supervisory Board Member of Bosna Bank International), Šekib Avdagić (President of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce -ITO), Bushnak Group, Ziraat Bank, Regional Cooperation Council, Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chamber of Commerce of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska, FIPA, and Turkish Airlines.

In addition to the businessman, CEO of the Bosna Bank International d.d also expressed great gratitude to the media for their continuous support and, together with Oussama Kaissi (General Director of the Islamic Corporation for Investment and Exports at the Islamic Development Bank- ISDB), awarded media representatives  including BHRT, Oslobođenje Services, RSG Media Group, Hayat TV, TVSA, Klix.ba, AA Anadolu Agency, Face TV, FBIH Radio and Television and TV N1.

After the award ceremony, participants continued the festive program at the National Theater, where they enjoyed the opera "La bohème".
