BBI AMONG ‘MOST DESIRABLE EMPLOYERS’

According to the poll conducted among 6.669 participants from all quarters of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosna Bank International (BBI) has been recognized as one of six most desirable employers in the financial sector.

Besides BBI -  the only bank in B&H which operates according to Islamic financial principles -  this prestigious recognition has been given to UniCredit bank, Sparkasse, Volksbank, Hypo Alpe Adria and NLB Tuzlanska banka.

The ‘Most Desirable Employer’ recognition award was presented to Amer Bukvic, CEO of  BBI by Edin Mehic, director general of ‘Posao.ba’ Job seeking portal. This award was first introduced in 2007 after the first poll had been conducted.

The award scheme is aimed at promoting positive practices of human resource management in B&H by companies. This way companies are given additional incentive to  improve employee relations and are motivated to offer better work environment, education and human development for its employees.

According to the survey of the B&H portal Posao.ba, Bosna Bank International has been recognized as the most desirable employer in the financial-insurance sector.

This prestigious recognition was awarded to the CEO of Bosna Bank International, Mr. Amer Bukvić, at an official ceremony held on 10th May in Sarajevo.

This year the survey was conducted over the period of three months; January, February and March 2012, and it involved 8.185 respondents from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The names of the companies were not offered in the survey; namely, the choice of the companies was solely based on the perception of the users who listed the companies and the reasons why they would like to work for these companies.

Bosna Bank International was awarded the coveted „Superbrands“seal in 2010, and was proclaimed the „Most Desirable Employer“in April 2011. The streak of success was continued this year as respondents from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina choose BBI for the most desirable employer in the finance-insurance sector.

„Most Desirable Employer“ Project started in 2007 when Posao.ba launched a survey on the portal for the first time in order to find out who are the employers that users would most likely like to work for.
