BBI bank clients can now pay BH Telecom bills via SMS

Nedžad Rešidbegović, CEO of BH Telecom, and Amer Bukvić, CEO of BBI, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly establish a platform that will enable the bank's clients to pay for BH Telecom bills via SMS message.

"This service will enable the end users to, easily and quickly, pay monthly bills for BH Telecom via mobile phone and it implies that the generally accepted SMS service will be used as a channel of communication. Service request, or initiation to pay the monthly bills, is carried out via a SMS message. The payment is done, with the users approval, through the customer's bank account. Users will be able to pay all BH Telecom services in this manner.", Rešidbegović pointed out during the signing ceremony.

“BBI bank continuously works to improve its products and service quality for their clients. Upon establishing eBBI electronic banking service, implemented by BBI bank team of experts, we have now established a partnership with BH Telecom in order to develop an attractive product with the intention of significantly facilitating BH Telecom bill payment through the introduction of payment via SMS messages for our clients", said Bukvić.

Use of this service is completely free of charge for the users of BH Telecom. Users do not have to pay any commission fees, monthly subscription, nor the traffic generated while using this service.

Establishing a partnership created the preconditions for the realization of the already initiated projects introducing mobile payment services via BH Telecom m-commerce platform, as well as for the future introduction of macropayment/micropayment service of BH Telecom.
