BBI Business Club is designed as a forum, which is going to provide the local and foreign business entities (retail and corporate customers, economic chambers, associations and similar), and first of all the clients of BBI, with an opportunity of arranging business gatherings, exchange of experiences and views, establishment of business connections and cooperation, realization of concrete deals, attraction of foreign investments, encouragement of export from B&H, as well as realization of other tasks and goals in the aim to strengthen the B&H economy, its connection with the economies of other countries and building up business relations, in the first place with the prosperous countries of the Gulf.
The Club shall function on voluntary basis according to system of gathering of clients and business partners/friends of BBI, within business activities and the space of the Bank. The Club’s work shall not be institutionalized in terms of official registration as a company or an association and it will not represent competition to other entities (government or non-government) in the realization of their goals. Through bodies and individuals of BBI, the Club may establish contacts with domicile and foreign corporate and retail business entities regarding establishment of cooperation, contracting, coordination and provision of visits, business transactions, individual contacts and assistance in their realization, etc.
Basic Features............................................................ Membership in the Club is voluntary. Any local or foreign corporate body, association (government and non-government), economic chamber and other organizations of business people and bodies can become a Member of the Club. Membership is personalized and it is realized directly through natural persons as Members or representatives of corporate bodies with authorization for that. Membership shall be realized by signing of Membership application and acceptance of these Rules and subsequent approval by the BBI. Every Member of the Club shall at his own free will select a Membership category, meeting all the conditions defined for that category and a possibility of free resignation from the Membership. Every Member of the Club shall receive a Membership card depending on the selected Membership category. Every Member of the Club shall be entitled to freely propose initiatives related to improvement of the Club’s work and realization of better results (proposing Amendments and Supplements to the Rules, proposing gathering of the Club Members, issues/topics for discussion, business initiatives, expansion of activities and network of the Club, as well as other initiatives related to overall operation and functioning of the Club). Every Member shall accept voluntarily the fact that the Club has been established by BBI and that the Club functions under the competency and sponsorship of BBI, which has a right and responsibility to manage and administer the work and the activities of the Club. Every Member of the Club shall have fee access to information and activities of the Club and shall be free to use them for own purposes. Every Member accepts to use the obtained information as a good businessman and prudent host, and undertakes to use that conscientiously and sincerely, taking into account not to damage the honor or reputation of BBI, the Club or any of their Members. Every Member shall be entitled to be promptly and appropriately informed about current events related to the activities of the Club, depending on the level of the rights and authorities determined by his Membership category. Moreover, every Member shall provide the Club promptly and genuinely with information that may contribute to its more efficient work and result with concrete business results. Members of the Club shall gather and meet at a time determined by BBI, as benefactor of the Club. BBI shall also determine the form, the composition and mode of the meetings. Member of the Club shall have an opportunity to establish contacts with the Members of the VIP Clubs of the founders of BBI and other institutions in the Gulf countries. BBI shall decide and award Honorary Membership, at the recommendation of the Club Members or own assessment. Honorary Members can be local or international corporate and retail entities who by their reputation, know-how and influence may contribute to work advancement and better results of the Club.
Activities of the Club............................................................ Gathering of the Members of the Club will be in the form suggested and time determined by BBI. Gathering can be in the following forms: seminar/conferences and other forms decided by BBI. BBI shall be authorized and obliged for constant expansion of forms, network and variety of establishing contacts and business results aimed at benefit and good business results of all business entities, both for the Bank and its partners and for community in which they live and operate. Every Member of the Club shall bear his own costs (air-ticket, accommodation, etc.) in organization of trips and association, except those costs, which BBI decides to cover from other sources. In any case, when organizing any form and type of gathering/meeting of the Club Members, BBI will inform them which costs shall be born by the Club.
General Provisions............................................................
BBI will be authorized and responsible for rational and earmarked spending of collected funds from the membership fees (gathering costs, media presentations, operating costs related to membership and the Club, visa provision costs for Members and guests of the Club, etc.) These Rules shall come in force on the day of passing and approval by BBI. The Club Membership Application form is attached to these Rules and they represent its integral part. Amendments and supplements will be made and approved by BBI at recommendation of the Members and at BBI’s assessment and discretion.
