Bosna Bank International made a small survey in the Retail Banking Division to find a reply to the question: What is it that we buy on installments?

In the past six month the citizens mainly bought computes and their component though financing up to KM 2,000. Fewer bought washing machines, stoves, refrigerators, TV sets and DVD players.

Besides “home appliances” small loans were also taken for traveling mainly to Turkey and Croatia.

What is interesting is that retired persons mostly purchased computers in the past six months.

Because of large interest in that type of financing, BBI decided to raise the limit from KM 2,000 to KM 3,000 from next week.

That was an announcement from the PR Service of Bosna Bank International d.d. which was sent to the media on January 24 this year.

In only one hour that information had been spread over Internet portals and broadcasted on radio and TV stations and the day later published in several daily newspapers.

Although it is difficult to establish how many media announced those news, according to available information with just a few lines, in only 24 hours Bosna Bank International was mentioned 11 times in public in Bosnia and Herzegovina and twice in the neighboring Croatia.
