647 scholarships for the academic year 2011/2012 provided

Bosna Bank International provided 647 scholarships for students, undergraduate and graduate students which are citizens of B&H and are attending school or higher educational institutions. The funds were provided from BBI Charity Fund, Finance House (FH) Fund from Abbu Dhabi and from Sheik Saleh Kamel Fund.

The Fund “Seikh Saleh Kamel, which was founded on the initiative of BBI, Fatma association and the philanthropist Seikh Abdullah Kamel, the founder and president of Al-Baraka finance and business group, provided funds amounting to 550.000 U.S. dollars for 500 scholarship users.

Finance House provided 50.000 Euros for 30 scholarships, namely loans. Students who are in the final year of the study cycle (300 ETCS points) and students of the first cycle of Medical studies (360 ETCS points) citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina can be the users of these scholarships along with 17 postgraduate students of Islamic banking.

The amount of 50 000 KM was provided from the BBI Charity Fund and will be allocated in 10 installments to a hundred students who are returnees to Republika Srpska. 
A Commission composed of representatives of BBI, Ministry of education and science of Canton Sarajevo, the Rectorate of University of Sarajevo, Islamic Community B&H and Fatma association will make the decision who will receive the scholarships.
