B&H products at the Saudi market

Bosna Bank International (BBI), in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in B&H, organized meetings for their clients, the members of the BBI VIP Business Club, with representatives of the "Al Othaim Holding", a renowned supplier of food distribution and  the owner of a retail chain and of the five largest shopping centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during the Sarajevo Business Forum.

President of the "Al Othaim Holding" Abdullah Saleh Al Othaim showed great interest in import of B&H agricultural products during his meeting with 11 representatives of B&H companies.

The owner of the „Al Othaim Holding“ comprised of „Al Othaim markets Company“ (OMC), „Al Othaim Real Estate Investment & Development Co“ (ORIDECO) and „Seffori Land Entertainment Company“, whose shopping centers spread over five million square meters, showed interest and will to place products from B&H and the entire region on the grand market of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Representatives of the B&H companies engaged in production and processing of food and water and presented their companies and products to the Saudi delegation led by Abdullah Saleh Al Othala and H.E. Eid Mohammad Al Thakafi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in B&H.

After each representative of 11 companies briefly presented its company, the president and the owner of “Al Othaim Holding” showed that he was impressed with the way Bosnian companies adapted the highest international standards and that are awarded with necessary certificates required for companies dealing such a sensitive industry as food manufacturing. They were particularly pleased that some companies already have Halal Certificates or are in the process of obtaining one, which is a condition for entering the Saudi food market.

Representatives of “Al Othaim Holding” have particularly thanked the BBI VIP Business Club for facilitating the meeting with the BH food producers.
