The share capital of BBI amounted to KM 47,52 million, which at that time, was the largest paid in capital compared to other banks in the country. On March 13, 2002, Bosna Bank International obtained the permit for domestic payment transactions from the Banking Agency of the Federation of B&H and in November the same year the license for deposit insurance.
