The Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) is a US regulation passed and adopted on 18.03.2010
that entered into force on 01.07.2014. FATCA regulations require that tax authorities obtain detailed
account information for US taxpayers on an annual basis and deliver them to the US’s Internal Revenue
Service (IRS).
