The best companies and individuals were awarded for their contribution to the development of the halal concept during the third day of the Sarajevo Halal Fair (SHF) 2019.

The organizers of the fair, Bosna Bank International (BBI), Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) and the IsDB Group Business Forum THIQAH, awarded Malaysian company GISB Holding for the Outstanding Contribution for the Global Halal Industry Development.

The award for outstanding contribution to the development of the European Halal Industry was given to AS Holding from Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the award for outstanding contribution to the development of the European Halal Market was given to the German company Meggle.

The Special award of the organizers of SHF 2019 for the contribution to the European halal industry went to Istanbul Chamber of Commerce - İTO.

The Deputy Mayor of the City of Zagreb, Oliver Majić, received the Special Award of the Organizer for Contribution to the Halal Industry of Southeast Europe. A special award from the organizers for their contribution to the halal industry of Bosnia and Herzegovina was presented to Valdet Peštalić, Head of the Education Department at the Agency for Halal Quality Certification in B&H.

The Croatian company Kraš has been awarded the Special Award of Organizers for the Development of Halal Products.

The SHF 2019 Visitor Award for the Best Booth was given to Bosnia and Herzegovina's MBA Center. The awards were presented by Salih Purišević from Bosna Bank International and Damir Alihodžić, Director of the BiH Halal Certification Agency.

SHF 2019 is held at the Skenderija Center in Sarajevo from September 26 to 28, 2019, and the organizers of the Fair are Bosna Bank International, Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) and IsDB Group Business Forum THIQAH, with the support of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Halal Quality Certification Agency of the B&H, and the Halal Industry Association operating within the FBiH Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This year's Event is held under the patronage of Šefik Džaferović, Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the three days of SHF 2019, meetings of regional halal product manufacturers and halal service providers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Macedonia and Albania were provided with large buyers and distributors from Turkey, Malaysia, Austria, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Bahrain, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, China, USA, Norway and other countries.
