H.E. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Shaibani (Investment Corporation of Dubai - ICD) announced and confirmed his participation in this year's Sarajevo Business Forum. Al-Shaibani is one of the leading experts in Islamic banking. He was proclaimed as the most influential non-royal personality of the United Arab Emirates by the Wall Street Journal, and is also ranked sixth in the list of the most powerful Arabs in the world.

In the past, His Excellency Al-Shaibani has shown a great interest in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and has visited Sarajevo on several occasions. By signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Investment Corporation of Dubai and the Government of the Sarajevo Canton in 2016, Al-Shaibani has shown support to the development of economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressing an interest to invest in promising projects.

As an honored guest, he also attended the Sarajevo Business Forum in previous years, and for the tenth jubilee SBF 2019 he announced his arrival to this important event in order to explore new business and investments opportunities.

Investment Corporation Dubai (IDC) is the owner, among others, of the chain of One & Only and Atlantis hotels. IDC also invested in Porte Montenegro in the neighbouring country of Montenegro. They contributed to the development of tourism of Bosnia and Herzegovina and have supported the Bosnian agriculture industry with a multi-million-dollar investment in Hepok (Mostar) and Bosnaplod (Brčko).
