His arrival at Sarajevo Halal Fair (SHF) 2019 was confirmed by Halim Kalla, Vice President of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Indonesian: Kamar Dagang dan Industri Indonesia - KADIN) and CEO of the Kalla Group.

KADIN is the umbrella organization of Indonesian Business Chambers and Associations. The Chamber focus is on all issues related to trade, industry and services, and is very dedicated to the use of potential and synergy of the national economy, offering a strategic forum for Indonesian entrepreneurs. KADIN is an independent representative for the interests of the private sector in Indonesia. It is also the only state-owned business organization authorized by the law to speak on behalf of the private sector, maintaining a privileged relation with government officials and covering all relevant sectors. Thanks to 34 regional chambers (KADIN Daerah) and 514 district branches, KADIN provides national coverage. Due to this large network, KADIN Indonesia is a partner to foreign companies that started their engagement in Indonesia and became a member of KADIN Indonesia. Within the Chamber also operates the KADIN Indonesia Business Service Desk - an international business services unit of KADIN Indonesia. KADIN BSD provides an independent view of new opportunities and developments in Indonesia. In particular, it offers experience, network and services, working closely with the Government of Indonesia and the business sector. So, they are the first contact part for foreign companies and the conductor of the progressive Indonesian private sector. The arrival of the Vice-President of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry opens the possibility for regional companies to cooperate with this large market.

Except of being the Vice President of the Chamber, Halim Kalla is also the owner of the Kalla Group, one of the largest business groups in Eastern Indonesia based in Makassar, South Sulawesi. The company began operations in 1952 and initially engaged in the textile trade to expand over time in the automotive, construction, transport and logistics, energy and nature preservation.

Participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and establish cooperation. Participation in the SHF 2019, until now, has been confirmed and announced by participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Austria, Germany, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, France, Lithuania and many others.

SHF 2019 will be held at the Skenderija Center in Sarajevo from September 26 to 28, 2019, and the organizers of the Fair are Bosna Bank International, Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) and IsDB Group Business Forum THIQAH, with the support of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Agency for Halal Quality Certification of BiH and the Association of Halal Industries which is operating within the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year's event is being sponsored by Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency member, Šefik Džaferović.
