The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by the current Chairman Milorad Dodik, will support Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF) 2019, which will be held in the capital of BiH from April 17-19. The Presidency’s participation was confirmed during a meeting held on 12 December 2018. Support for the Sarajevo Business Forum was among the first decisions of the new Bosnian heads of state. The jubilee 10th SBF will include the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, the Sector for Bilateral Relations, the Department for Economic Diplomacy, and the Presidency.

The conference, held annually for ten years since 2010, is organized by Bosna Bank International (BBI) in cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB). Under its "One Region, One Economy" motto, SBF will once again connect the most important business and political leaders across the region and world.

“We have already started preparations for the Sarajevo Business Forum. We will strengthen economic links between the region and the world for a tenth year in a continued effort to become an attractive destination for foreign investors. Our motto "One Region, One Economy" maintains an ultimate goal of connecting economies that will lead to prosperity for all citizens. The BiH Presidency has continued their gracious tradition of caring for us and recognizing our belief that economic cooperation is a region's development generator," said Amer Bukvić, CEO of Bosna Bank International.

The Sarajevo Business Forum has become one of the most significant business events in the region and throughout Southeastern Europe. SBF has built the international image of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a suitable destination for investment and economic development. It is also recognized as a gathering place for experts to share presentations of the world’s best practices in agriculture, infrastructure, energy and tourism. Over the past nine years, more than 8,000 participants and 3,000 companies from 50 countries participated in SBF. About 1,500 B2B meetings have been held, and more than 2,000 journalists have reported on the work of Sarajevo Business Forum.
