The delegation from Sarajevo presented the newest trends in the global demand for halal products and services, but also improvements of quality and services that the halal certification contributes to.

“The Sarajevo Halal Fair SHF 2019 can offer a lot to producers and distributors in Albania, helping them to promote their products, especially agricultural ones, like herbs and honey, but also meat-based products. The participation at the SHF opens halal manufacturers and halal service providers the opportunity to establish contacts and initiate cooperation with potential buyers, customers, business partners and investors for production development projects. What we can promise on behalf of the organizers is that you will enjoy the SHF 2019 Days in Sarajevo, the delicacies of BiH cuisine and the warm hospitality of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which make this city and country famous throughout the world,” said Muhamed Prlja, Managing Director of UBA Bank.

The first Sarajevo Halal Fair, held last year, was attended by three companies from Albania whose representatives shared their experiences of participating in event during the presentation, warmly recommending to present themselves at the SHF, pointing out that the SHF is the best platform to enter the BiH market in the region but also in the world.

At the second SHF 2019, Albanian companies are likely to present themselves at a unique national pavilion organized by Halal Expo Albania.

The Director of the Strategy and Sales Policy at the Ministry of Agriculture of Albania, Ms. Laura Grezhda pointed out that the Ministry is ready to provide any kind of assistance that halal producers in Albania need, including legal and financial assistance.

“We consider halal certification to be a very important step for Albanian manufacturers and exporters, so I assure you that the support of the Government of Albania will not be missed and we are already looking forward to the success of Albanian companies producing halal certified products,” Grehzda emphasized.

“Halal Expo Albania has been contributing to the growth of the halal industry for many years. We believe that the future of the halal market belongs to us, we just need to strive every day to reach it as quick as possible and make it more successful,” Dajcaj said.
