Tonight, in the Sarajevo City Hall, with a large number of guests and, a formal reception was held on the occasion of the 11th Sarajevo Business Forum. The hosts of the reception were the Mayor of Sarajevo Benjamina Karić and the President of the Board of Bosna Bank International (BBI) Alek Bakalović, who wished all participants success during the upcoming two-day Forum, and all guests a pleasant and successful stay in Sarajevo.

In her introductory address, Mayor Karić stated that Sarajevo, but also the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina, offers many business opportunities.

"Sarajevo is a place of rapid economic growth, and the Sarajevo Business Forum has become a place of interaction between business people and institutions. Sarajevo creates a place suitable for business and business meetings. BiH has a lot of talented and capable people who create unique projects and products. The city administration is working on attracting new investments and creating new jobs, but also creating an attractive tourist destination. It is encouraging to know that Sarajevo and BiH have so many influential people from the world of politics and business. I want this Sarajevo Business Forum to strengthen existing ties, both business and political, " said Benjamina Karić, Mayor of Sarajevo. 

The organizer of the Sarajevo Business Forum is Bosna Bank International d.d. Sarajevo with its shareholders - Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), is sponsored by the Presidency of BiH and strategic partner of the 11th SBF 2022 Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton.

"We are proud that this year's Sarajevo Business Forum exceeded our expectations and plans. A record number of projects has been reported, confirming that the region is ready for new foreign investments. BBI Bank, among numerous socially responsible initiatives, singles out the Sarajevo Business Forum as the most influential contribution to the community ", said the President of the Management Board of BBI Bank Alek Bakalović in his introductory address.

As part of the reception, BBI Bank and the City of Sarajevo awarded the Medallion of the City of Sarajevo to eminent participants of the Sarajevo Business Forum. 

The formal reception in the crowded City Hall continued with socializing, talks and a cultural and artistic program.

Sarajevo Business Forum is one of the most important business and investment events for Southeastern Europe, and has become a global platform for the promotion of projects and economic entities, analysis and preparation of projects and adequate presentation of economic potentials, as well as connecting businessmen and investors at individual and institutional level. About 1,500 participants from 40 countries from all over the world announced their arrival at the Forum.
