The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Transformers Roadshow Competition, organized this year in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, has attracted a huge attention of innovators and entrepreneurs in our country and region. Therefore, the Transformers Roadshow organizers have decided to extend the deadline for applications for this competition until September 16, 2019.

Major shareholder of Bosna Bank International dd Sarajevo has decided to give the opportunity and reward to the best innovators and entrepreneurs from the countries of the region. The goal of the competition is to recognize innovators, scientists and entrepreneurs with ideas that can support one or more of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals, connect them with those who can impart relevant knowledge and support, including funding, and who can offer them new business opportunities or simply strategic advice.

IsDB has started the Transformers Roadshow as a platform to support the work of innovators and entrepreneurs worldwide, with the $ 500 million Innovation and Technology Fund. Through the competition, new ideas which can help communities to build a healthier and more prosperous future are being found and supported.

The best ideas will be presented to a jury of experts on September 28, 2019 in Sarajevo, as part of the third day of the Sarajevo Halal Fair (SHF) 2019, and the top three will be rewarded with a cash prize of $ 3,000 and each of them will get the opportunity to present themselves at the World’s Innovation Competition in Senegal.  More information about how to apply with an idea, innovation or project could be found at www.bbi.ba  and www.isdb-engage.org.
